For the past few months, I along with a team of bloggers have partnered to raise awareness about the growing problem of child hunger in our country. One in five American children do not know where their next meal will come from, and living in a country with such affluence, I am compelled to do something.
As an extension of the nationwide Child Hunger Ends Here campaign, ConAgra Foods has partnered with Schools Fight Hunger this fall to help end child hunger across the country. Schools Fight Hunger brings America’s schools and families together to help make a difference. Through food drives, bake sales, and volunteering, schools are working to end child hunger.
Is your school fighting child hunger? It’s easy to find out and even get involved! Simply head over to Schools Fight Hunger to find out if your school is fighting hunger, request a tool kit, and be inspired on ways to make a difference.
