The Amazing Spider-Man On Blu-ray and DVD *Giveaway*

Posted by Caryn Bailey 65 Comments

This giveaway is now closed. Thanks for stopping by. The winner is Jennifer T. Congrats!

2012 was the year of the superhero. We saw our comic book favorites come alive onscreen, and given the cliffhangers and subtle plot hints within these films, we can be sure that 2013 will once again promise to satisfy our craving for the extraordinary.

The Amazing Spider-Man

I was reading an article this week about the supposed “Easter Eggs” you’ll find in Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man, that may offer audiences some clues about what they can expect from a sequel.  The film was just released on Blu-ray and DVD, and I’m personally excited about seeing it again from this perspective.

The Amazing Spider-Man

The Amazing Spider-Man tells the original story of Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) and how he becomes a superhero. Abandoned as a child, Parker is raised by his Aunt and Uncle.  As he enters his teen years, he struggles with his identity. Part of figuring out who he is involves understanding what happened to his parents. Through this venture, he encounters his father’s former partner Dr. Curt Connors, who’s alter ego is The Lizard.  His journey to learn the truth and use his superpowers for good will shape his destiny and refine him as a hero.

The Amazing Spider-Man

Right now, the 3-disco combo pack is on sale and features a host of special features including deleted scenes, commentary from the director/producers of the film, a look at how the stunts were filmed, the development of the new video game, and much more.

Win It!  One of you will win The Amazing Spider-Man on DVD + a poster with a certficate of authenticity. Simply complete the Rafflecopter form below.

US Residents only. Duplicates and comments not including the above information will be disqualified. Comments are moderated. If you don’t see your comment in a reasonable amount of time, send me an email. Bloggers and non-bloggers may enter. I like this version better then the Toby Spiderman. This version had more of the true comic feel to it. I tell you nothing beats the 80’s cartoon of Spiderman that was narrated by Stan Lee.
