Natural Ways to Relieve Stress

Posted by Caryn Bailey Leave a Comment

I sat in the car for a few moments at drop-off and breathed. All of the anticipation and pent-up emotion leading up to the first day of school released in that one heavy sigh. I kept my kids home all summer (more about that in another post), and while the lax schedule should have translated into relaxation, I found that juggling work added a layer of stress I did not know existed. A massage is my go-to for sustained stress, and I strive to schedule one at least every month or so. Additionally, I draw on techniques involving self-care such as sleep, exercise, deep breathing, and time alone. And while all of these techniques help alleviate stress, I found myself intrigued about the idea of using a natural supplement to help manage stress.

Consideration provided by Quicksilver Scientific.

Stress

Quicksilver Scientific

Quicksilver Scientific was started by Dr. Christopher Shade, who saw a gap in the foods we eat and began studying the role of supplements as part of a healthy diet. Today, he draws on science and nature to help individuals achieve mind and body health.

Colorado Hemp Oil

Nanoemulsified Colorado Hemp Oil: CBD has gained momentum because of its ability to aid in pain relief and feelings of well-being without the psychoactive effect of conventional cannabis. Cannabinoids help to plan a role in regulating inflammation, pain, appetite, sleep, mood, insulin sensitivity, fat and energy metabolism, and can impact neurologic and immune conditions. CBD can also be used for and has been shown to reduce feelings of anxiety.

Liposomal Ultra Vitamin

Liposomal Ultra Vitamin: Confession. I used to take any over-the-counter vitamin that was on sale. I never paid much attention to the specifics of what was in those vitamins, and I probably took them because at some point a doctor made the recommendation. If you are going to take a supplement, it should be well-researched and provide benefit to your body. This state-of-the-art multivitamin blend offers maximum absorption and efficacy. It includes active forms of B vitamins and a blend of stable and metabolically active vitamins and antioxidants including lutein, zeaxanthin, and lycopene.

H2 Elite

H2 Elite: Antioxidants are the latest health buzz word, and endless foods and supplements boast high quantities of these precious nutrients. Hydrogen is a pure and gentle antioxidant that is created through a reaction of magnesium and water. This supplement can help with free radicals and is simply added to any non-carbonated beverage.

Quinton Isotonic

Quinton Isotonic:  This particular supplement was one I was unfamiliar with but very interested in trying out. This nutrient-rich raw marine fluid is harvested from plankton-rich ocean blooms and cold-sterilized to retain its healing properties. The solution contains up to 78 essential minerals and trace elements that our body relies on for optimal cellular health. These bioavailable ionic minerals help replenish cells.

Quicksilver Scientific offers a variety of supplements designed to address everything from stress management and relaxation to cognition, mental clarity, energy, and athletic performance. Using these supplements have been a wonderful addition to my arsenal of stress-management techniques.
