Four years ago, I received a phone call to speak at Hispanicize which has evolved into the largest Hispanic social media event bringing together professionals that span everything from journalist and blogging to marketing, entertainment and tech entrepreneurship. Even in Los Angeles, I knew that there really was no other event of its kind. The conference has grown tremendously since its inception in Dallas 6 years ago and it is expected that over 2,000 Latino professionals will be in attendance.
This year, along with sharing how this space is evolving on a panel titled, The Evolving Influence of Latino Mom Digital Influencers (sponsored by Walt Disney World, I’m one of 24 Latino Digital Influencers! During this immersive week, I invite you to follow along with me from home via Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook using the hashtag #Hispz15 for real-time updates from the sessions and events. If you’re attending Hispanicize, I encourage you to download their free app to plan your agenda while keeping up with the attendees moment-by-moment.
The conference will be hosted at the luxurious Intercontinental Hotel located right on the water. I’m personally hoping that I might have some downtime to explore a bit of the city. If you’re planning to spend some time in Miami, I recommend reading this article for tips on places to eat and things to do from Latina.com.
This year’s schedule includes full-day sessions in the following tracks: Film, Journalism, Marketing, Music, and Social Media. I’ve been planning my own schedule, and while it would be impossible to highlight everything that is included in this 5-day event, here are my top 10 Must-Attend Events at Hispanicize 2015!
