Outback Steakhouse Brings Back the Loaded Bloomin’ Onion + A Giveaway

As much as I love prepping and cooking homemade meals for my family, by Friday I’m ready for a break. Fresh foods that boast a home-cooked feel are favorites of ours, which is why we enjoy the the grilled seafood and meat dishes at Outback Steakhouse. The restaurant’s concept was inspired by the Australian Outback and is well known for serving premium steak cuts alongside a menu of chicken, ribs, seafood and pasta.

Loaded Bloom

This month, the restaurant is celebrating it’s roots with the debut of their Big Australia menu. Available through August 2nd, 2016, you’ll find larger, Aussie-sized portions of their most iconic dishes. Specifically, their Loaded Bloomin’ Onion combines their signature Bloomin’ Onion with Aussie Cheese Fries in a shareable appetizer. Additional menu items include the following:

Sirloin

  • 18 oz. Center Cut Sirloin: Seasoned and seared to perfection, this steak is accompanied by a signature potato and choice of one fresh side

Bearnaise-Topped Filet

  • Béarnaise Jumbo Shrimp Topped Filet: Victoria’s Filet Mignon is topped with four jumbo shrimp and a Béarnaise sauce, and served with a signature potato and choice of one fresh side

Stuffed Lobster Tail

  • Giant Crab Stuffed Lobster Tail: Premium lump crab cake is stuffed in an Aussie-sized jumbo lobster tail and topped with Hollandaise sauce. This dish is also served with your choice of two fresh sides

Outback Steakhouse’s Big Australia Menu features generous portions, however, the restaurant also offers a range of dishes to satisfy varying dietary needs. While visiting the restaurant last week, I ordered from their Under 600 Calorie choices, and my dish included grilled salmon and fresh vegetables. Additional menu items include Crab and Avocado Stack, a 6 pz. Center Cut Sirloin served with fresh vegetables, Grilled Chicken on the Barbie and Perfectly Grilled Salmon.

  18. I love eating Dinner at Outback Steakhouse. The best tasting food of any restaurant. I love the Steak with Shrimp on the Barbie with a loaded baked potato and the Big Bloomin Onion!

  39. I haven’t been to Outback in over 12 years so really do not have a favorite item. However, I would love to try the Giant Crab .Stuffed Lobster Tail.

  56. The bloomin onion is the best appetizer I think! And I love the Alice Springs Chicken for dinner. Getting hungry just thinking about it!

  147. My dad and I go every Thursday and I always get the 6oz Victoria’s filet mignon , with a fully loaded bake potato, and a salad!
