Our annual visits to the Southeast inevitably include at least one trip to a Walmart Supercenter. I am not really sure why it’s so difficult to find a Supercenter in our area, but the closest one is at least 30 minutes away. I get a little excited about visiting these particular stores because they include a grocery section so expansive, it’s like a supermarket was dropped in the middle of the store. I imagine we’d make it our one-stop shop if our local Walmart transformed into a Supercenter.
Earlier this week, Walmart reinforced it’s commitment to offering it’s customers low prices…everyday…on everything. The company also announced that it would be bringing back 8500 items that were previously removed from store shelves. Many of these items will be found in grocery including pasta, beverages, snacks and more. Additionally, Walmart is bringing back fresh grocery, paper goods, and health/wellness products. If your favorite product was taken off store shelves, you may want to go back and look for it in the coming weeks and months. Those products that have returned will be easily identified with an “It’s Back” flag, although I haven’t seen them tagged as such yet.
In the coming months, also look for expansions in store inventory of electronics, sporting goods, apparel, fabrics/crafts and outdoor living products. With these new products come low prices…guaranteed. If you ever have a question about Walmart’s Everday Low Price guarantee, feel free to speak with your store manager.
