Turbo FAST Weekend at Discovery Cube Orange County + Free Printable Activities

Inspired by DreamWorks Animation’s animated film Turbo, Netflix debuted Turbo FAST last winter as the first original series for children.  The series begins where the film ended and follows the infamous super-powered snail Turbo and his crew, who make up the Fast Action Stunt Team (FAST) as they go on daring new adventures, take on outrageous challengers and find crazy ways to keep their city safe. This flash-animated series features 2 11-minute stories and can be viewed on Netflix.

To celebrate the 2 latest Halloween-inspired episodes of Turbo FAST, Discovery Cube Orange County and DreamWorks Animation have partnered for an exciting, weekend-long event.  On October 25 and 26, 2014, families are invited to participate in Turbo FAST Weened at Discovery Cube Orange County. Along with screening the 2 newest episodes, families will enjoy a variety of Turbo FAST-inspired activities including drawing demonstrations by a real animator.

Here is what you can expect this coming weekend at Discovery Cube Orange County:

What: Turbo FAST Weekend

Where: Discovery Cube Orange County, 2500 N. Main Street, Santa Ana, CA 92705

When: October 25 and 26, 2014 from 11 am to 4 pm

Activities: Learn how to draw Turbo from a real animator, screen The Terror of Tickula (you can preview the episode here) and Beware of the Chickipede at the Discovery Theater, race through mazes, solve puzzles, color favorite snail characters and create an origami Turbo snail with the Fast Action Stunt Team and enjoy daily giveaways (first 50 kids).

Cost: Activities are included with the price of museum admission
