KitchenAid and Sears Partner To Help You Save On Home Appliances #SavorTheSavings

A few weeks ago, I decided to mix two of my favorite flavors of the season into a batch of muffins that my kids simply can’t get enough of.  Baking is my zen, and during this time of year, our home typically smells like pumpkin, spices, or chocolate (sometimes it’s a combo of all three!) Despite the fact that I’ve been traveling like a gypsy, I’ve managed to tinker with the ingredients in my kitchen to create recipes for Pumpkin Apple Spice Muffins and a Pumpkin Butternut Squash Ravioli.  Do you see a recurring theme here?  The only reason I haven’t gained 10 pounds is the fact that these recipes take a bit of time to prepare.

I love my time in the kitchen, but with 2 small children, I don’t always have unending hours to get elaborate, which is why having quality, time-saving appliances is a must.  When my husband and I were preparing to get married, there was only one appliance that I HAD to have. To this day, I use my KitchenAid mixer for nearly everything including pizza dough, homemade whipped cream, muffins, cookies and more. And as a testament to its durability, I’ve had the same stand mixer for over 10 years!
