This year, Hellmann’s celebrates its 100 year anniversary, and as we commence 2013, I thought I’d recap some of my favorite recipes.  When I first joined the Real Foodies, my repertoire of mayonnaise-inspired recipes was small, mostly limited to spreads and dips.  Through my work with the brand along with inspiration from some of the chefs that have partnered with them including Mario Batali and Tim Love, I’ve seen how versatile Hellmann’s Mayonnaise.  From Honey Mustard Chicken Fingers to Chocolate Cupcakes, I’ve learned to think outside the box…and that mayonnaise makes most foods richer, moister, and that much more enjoyable.

Here are my top 5 favorite Hellmann’s Recipes:

  80. My favorite recipe using Hellmann’s is not fancy at all, but I do truly love it….mix equal parts Hellmann’s and ketchup and add a dash of malt vinegar and you have a sauce/dip for fish and fries!

  86. My favorite recipe using Hellman’s mayo is 1 cup Hellmans, 1 cup sour cream, 1 can diced tomatoes drained, and 1 package real bacon bits. Mix all together and chill, this is an amazing dip recipe

  206. I make jalapeno cheese toast using mayo, cheddar cheese and jalapenos in the food processor and spreading on bread to toast in the oven.

  235. Mine’s not really a recipe, but I spread a layer of mayo over salmon when I bake or grill it. It keeps is super moist and yummy.

  239. I love to use it to make potato salad (I use dill pickles instead of sweet in mine) and my deviled eggs (also with dill pickles). My family loves dill pickles so we use them a lot as you can tell.

  253. My favorite recipe using Hellman’s is garlic dip that I make with Tastefully Simple Garlic Garlic and Hellman’s…it is the best!

  269. INGREDIENTS
    1 box (18 oz.) chocolate cake mix
    1 cup Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
    2 1/2 cups water , divided
    3 eggs
    2 packages (3.4 oz. ea.) chocolate instant pudding & pie filling
    2 cups milk
    1/3 cup sugar
    DIRECTIONS
    Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan; set aside.
    Beat cake mix, Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise, 1 cup water and eggs in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed, scraping sides occasionally, 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan; set aside.
    Blend pudding & pie filling, milk, remaining 1-1/2 cups water and sugar in medium bowl with wire whisk. Pour over prepared cake.
    Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm and, if desired, with Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream.

  318. One of my favorite recipes using Hellmann’s is my tuna sandwiches. It’s a traditional tuna sandwich, but I add garlic salt to the mayo on whole wheat bread. I love it.

  388. I actually just made a batch of turkey salad with our leftover Christmas turkey. Just turkey, some Hellmann’s, a bit of onion and celery, and a dash of mustard. Easy and delicious!

  496. I was just thinking about whipping up some deviled eggs! For sure, Hellmanns would be amazing in that! I noticed in their recipes you can add it to mashed potatoes, I would have never thought of that. I would love to try their Cheesy Chicken Pizza recipe. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway!

  524. We use Hellman’s in so many recipes – potato salad, tuna salad, coleslaw, sandwiches. One of my go-to dinner recipes is Hellman’s Parmesan Chicken, and I’ve used the same recipe with tilapia.
