This global phenomenon has taken the world by storm and has expanded beyond the role-play video games to include a television-based series and a new toy line from Hasbro. Yo-kai Watch: The Movie

About Yo-kai Watch

Originating in Japan, Yo-kai Watch is a cross-media universe which follows the humorous misadventures of an average human boy and his involvement with the mischievous Yo-kai. These invisible beings are the cause of life’s daily annoyances. Nate Adams obtains a special watch which empowers him to discover and summon Yo-kai, befriend them and work together to solve everyday problems, usually caused by other trouble-making Yo-kai.

Yo-kai Watch: The Movie Event

Yo-kai Watch: The Movie follows the story of Nate Adams and his Yo-kai friends Whisper and Jibanyan as they are transported to the past to help Nate’s grandfather, Nathaniel, battle evil Yo-kai and invent the Yo-kai Watch. The film also introduces a brand new Yo-kai named Hovernyan, a floating blue cat who is Nathaniel’s heroic companion. The film features the voice talent from the show that airs on Disney XD.

Attendees will have a chance to receive a limited edition Hovernyan YO-MOTION YO-KAI MEDAL while supplies last. This medal is compatible with the YO-KAI WATCH MODEL ZERO from Hasbro and can unlock special content in the LEVEL-5 apps Yo-kai Watch Land and Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble. It can also unlock special features and bonuses in the new Nintendo 3DS games YO-KAI WATCH 2: Bony Spirits and YO-KAI Watch 2: Fleshy Souls. Once you’ve received your medal, collect and store additional YO-MOTION MEDALS in the YO-KAI MEDALLIUM COLLECTION BOOK from Hasbro.
