I admit that I let my two year old watch a limited amount of carefully selected children’s television programs and DVD’s. And as I get further and further along in the pregnancy, it’s getting increasingly difficult to keep up with him! I’ve had to be very creative about not allowing him too much time in front of the television. We read, I let him play in our backyard, we color, and play games.
Tonight is National Family Game Night so turn off the TV and break out a board game! Hasbro is encouraging families across America to spend an evening at home playing games together to reconnect. I grew up as an only child so we played lots and lots of games. Games like Clue, Monopoly, Candy Land, and The Game of Life and Trivial Pursuit…. Hasbro has come out with brand new versions of these traditional games. And I have more to share with you about them. For now, I have to go. It’s National Family Game Night!
