No compensation was received for this post. I was hosted by Disney on a press trip which facilitated the writing of this post.
As a huge fan of all-things Disney, we spend quite a bit of time at the Disneyland Resort making memories together as a family. As a child, some of my fondest moments were riding Space Mountain with my father and meeting my favorite characters and I love reliving some of those moments with my own children. When Walt Disney sat on a park bench inside Griffith Park dreaming up a place where adults and children could have fun together, the beginnings of story-based attractions and the fusion of film into family experiences could be seen.
Earlier this year, the mystery adventure film Tomorrowland debuted in theaters, named after the futuristic themed land at Disneyland Park. Starring George Clooney, the film follow the story of a former boy-genius and an optimistic teen who embark on a dangerous mission to unearth the secrets of a mysterious place somewhere in time and space. With a screenplay by Lost writer and co-creator Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird, Tomorrowland takes families on a thrill ride of adventures through dimensions that have only been dreamed of.
This Fall, families can relive the adventure when Tomorrowland debuts on Blu-ray, Digital HD, and Disney Movies Anywhere on October 13th. In honor of the film, I have a ton of fun, free Tomorrowland printables and activity sheets to share with you!
This coming week, Laura Franklin and I will be sharing some exciting, behind-the-scenes content on the Tomorrowland including interviews with inspiring Disney Dreamers including filmmakers, talent, entrepreneurs, imagineers and an award-winning chef!
Additionally, we’ll be interviewing Aladdin Genie animator Eric Goldberg in honor of the release of Aladdin: Diamond Edition on Blu-ray and DVD on October 13th, 2015 and on Disney Movies Anywhere and Digital HD September 29th, 2015.
Lastly, we’ll be sharing additional inside information on the Disneyland Resort’s Diamond Celebration commemorating the 60th anniversary of the original park.
I hope you’ll join us Sunday September 20th through Tuesday September 22nd online and via social media for real-time updates. You can follow the hashtag #TomorrowlandBloggers and #AladdinBloggers on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
