Tis’ the Season to be Clean! Part 3

Posted by Caryn Bailey Leave a Comment

While I like a clean house, I can be a little puritanical about getting my hands dirty.  I love laminate flooring but they need to be cleaned every other day because of the amount of sand and dirt that gets tracked in.  Unlike carpet, there is no hiding a dirty floor.  The sponge mop I’ve been using is terrible…seriously!  It moves the dust and dirt all around.  The only reason why I used it for so long was because I don’t have to touch icky mop water.

Thanks to Libman my husband and I were able to try out the Wonder Mop.  And that’s been WONDERful! Hehe!  This lightweight twist mop is made of non-woven, premium synthetic material.  The best part is that it is machine washable.  I wash everything…even items that say NOT to wash them.  I never feel completely comfortable rinsing a mop and then using it at a later time.  I am not convinced that “rinsing” does anything to kill the floor germs. Every week or so I’ll just pop the mop head into the washer! The refills snap on and off and when it’s time to retire them, I can just purchase a new one.  The handle is made from steel and contains a special wringer sleeve for hands-free wringing.  I am saying goodbye to icky mop water and hubby’s yucky sponge mop.  The way the mop is designed, I’m able to actually get in between the cabinets and under the refrigerator without getting mop water and suds all over them.  The Wonder Mop can actually be used on other surfaces including cabinets and the top of the refrigerator (places I definitely wouldn’t be able to reach). This mop waded through the sticky juice and dirt stains and my floors look shiny and clean (I also had a little help from Weiman).

The Wonder Mop retails for approximately $10.00 and can be purchased at retailers nationwide.

Profuse thanks to Libman and the Family Review Network for this review opportunity.
