Tips on Manners and Etiquette For God’s Little Princesses *Giveaway*

Posted by Caryn Bailey 77 Comments

This giveaway is now closed. Congrats Gianna, our winner!

As a young woman, I struggled with self-confidence, true beauty, and relationships.  I grew up as an only child and looked to my mother for support and guidance.  I was also blessed to grow up in a church with female mentors who served as role models.  Although my daughter is still a baby, I know that the years will go by quickly.  My hope is that she’ll grow up knowing that true beauty comes from within…that she is precious, unique and loved…that in God’s eyes (and mine) she is a princess.

Best selling author, speaker, and teacher Sheila Walsh just released How To Be God’s Little Princess, a book geared towards teens and tweens that answers the question, What does it take to be a princess?  The book, which features a trendy artistic design, guides young girls through friendship, inner beauty, manners, etiquette and much more.  From lighthearted topics like how to make the best pink cookies to more serious topics like how to act like a princess when things go wrong, the book is a wonderful resource for young women.

In writing the book, Sheila Walsh hopes that young girls will learn important life skills and learn to make wise decisions about relationships, appearance, and media, and more.  I really like the way she has set up  the book, with adorable illustrations, crafts, quizzes and activities to help little princesses put what they’ve learned into practice. Sheila has really thought through all of the issues young women are facing in today’s world and created a book that will guide them on their journey to true beauty.

Sheila Walsh is the creator of the award-winning Gigi, God’s Little Princess brand and she is celebrating the release of the book with a Princess Prize Package which will include the following:

  • A brand new KINDLE with Wi-Fi & New Pearl Screen
  • How to Be God’s Little Princess
  • A Princess Tea Kit (includes princess backpack, tiara, book, jewelry making kit, & mug)

To enter, just visit the site (you can enter via Twitter, Facebook, or email)!  On May 4th (5:00 PM PST), she’ll host a Princess Tea Party on Facebook.  The winner will be announced and she will also give away a ton of items from Gigi and God’s Little Princess line.

Win It! One of you will win a Princess Tea Party kit which will include a copy of How To Be God’s Little Princess, tiaras, princess cups, adhesive jewels, and bracelet-making kits.  Simply leave me a comment with one way you’re guiding your daughter or that special girl in your life to becoming a princess.  Comments will close on May 14th, 2011 at 11:59 PM PST.
