The Talk Celebrates Moms During Their Million Dollar Baby Shower Giveaway

The person who invented the DVR was absolutely brilliant! Perhaps he or she was a parent who’d spent a majority of their children’s formidable years watching animated shows. It’s rare if I get time to sit and watch a show at the time it is airing, unless my son is in school and my daughter is asleep, which means I’m incredibly reliant on my DVR to keep up to date with my favorites.

About a year and a half ago, I was introduced to The Talk, which I likened to having coffee with your girlfriends. The Daytime Emmy-nominated talk show airs on CBS each day at 2 p EST/1 p PST is co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler who discuss everything from current events, pop culture, and trending topics to family and contemporary issues. The show is a diverse mix of guest interviews, musical performances, appearances from people with engaging stories, and practical advice and tips from experts in the fields of health, home, relationships, finance, and fashion. Each of the hosts share stories and challenge each other on the issues presented while engaging both in-studio and at-home audiences.

About a month ago, new grandmother and co-host Sharon Osbourne celebrated the birth of her first grandchild by throwing a Million Dollar baby shower on The Talk. The audience was comprised of expectant moms who were surprised with gifts during the hour-long show which also helped prepare them for their new babies. Over $1 million in gifts were given to 250 moms in attendance! Some of the brands featured include Quinny, Maxi-Cosi, Safety 1st, and Isabelle Grace.
