This giveaway is now closed. Congrats to our winner, Clarissa!
After a very warm weekend here in the Southland, it looks like we’ll get our first rain of the season this week. Once the seasons begin to change, I always think about those days when we’re stuck at home due to illness or the weather and what I can do with the kids to keep them from going stir crazy. The kids enjoy baking, crafting, and board games and I’m always looking for interesting new ideas that they can get excited about.
Last year, I had the pleasure of sitting in on a filming of one of the holiday episodes from The Possibility Shop. We’re currently beginning season three of the online web series, which is produced by The Jim Henson Company and available for viewing on DisneyFamily.com. While at the Jim Henson Studios last year, I had the pleasure of meeting creator, author, producer, host, and mom Courtney Watkins, who talked a little bit about her inspiration for the show and how she crafts with her children.
The latest season will include 20 new episodes featuring ideas to help parents “capture their kids’ imagination, creativity and sense of adventure.” With the holidays approaching, The Possibility Shop is a unique resource for parents looking to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. Through inventive projects, activities, and games, Courtney will offer families ideas on celebrating the holidays, creating art, throwing parties, and exploring the outdoors.
Once parents and children have watched the episodes (which are actually quite short), they can print off the activity guides to work on the projects at home.
You can watch the next season of The Possibility Shop on DisneyFamily.com.
Win It! One of you will win a Possibility Shop backpack, a Possibility Shop BPA free water bottle, a flashlight and a few coupons for free products from Clorox. Simply leave me a comment with an activity or episode you like from The Possibility Shop. Comments will close on October 17th at 11:59 PM PST.
