I went up to see the grandparents this weekend and we took Josh for tea! As soon as Jason finds my cord I will upload the CUTEST picture of him at tea. I know I won’t be able to bring him when he’s bigger but it was fun and all the girls at The Four Seasons Tea Room oohed and aahed over him!
You know I’m quite the tea connoisseur and I just have to say that I absolutely LOVE The Four Seasons Tea Room! If you are in the LA area please visit. A lot of tea rooms come and go but this one has been around a long time. It tends to get very crowded on the weekends with bridal and baby showers so reservations are a must. If you go during the week you’ll find it to be a quaint, quiet place for tea. Although it tends to be on the pricey side, the food is absolutely wonderful. The menu is seasonal so the sandwiches and desserts will vary. The amount of food you receive is enough, however, don’t expect to go starving and get full. I tend to eat a light lunch before and then head on over for their 2:30 seating. My favorite thing about this tearoom is the scones! They are soft, warm, and melt in your mouth. The scone is baked while you eat your sandwiches so it’s toasty and fresh from the oven. Although the tearoom appears small, it actually accommodates quite a few people. There are 2 main rooms and then a patio area. Tea pots and china adorn the rooms and the owner sells a variety of tea related items. I love the area where the tearoom is located. Sierra Madre is tucked up against a mountain and the area is home to several unique shops and boutiques so leave time to walk around.
I’ll be putting more reviews of tearooms up in the weeks to come because I LOVE going to tea, trying out new places, and sharing my experiences with people. Now that Josh is a little older it’s easier for me to get out with him. Stop, relax, and have a cup of tea!
