I haven’t gotten a good one in a long time.. but the best one I ever got was three dozen purple roses (my favorite) for my 16th valentines day. It wasn’t so much the roses that were sweet it was the fact that my friend saved for them for months to buy them.
I blogged you too:

Our son’s US visa arrived in the mail! We also got a new picture from a family who went to Korea to meet their new daughter. AFter wondering and memorizing the picture we had, it was wonderful to get a new picture and with the visa, know that we were that much closer to meeting our son and holding him in our arms for the first time after five years of yearning for parenthood!
The sweetest valentine’s message I’ve ever gotton was when my hubby wrote me a paper (like the kind you write in college/university) and it was all about how much he loved me/missed me, etc. Awww! It was so sweet. 🙂

I was in second grade a new boy (he just joined the class a few weeks earlier) who was learning english made me a personal valentine That read “You sweett. I lik you lot Moreen” Would have been perfect if he had got my name right, lol! I remember his last name was Brown and he gave me the shyest little smile when he gave it to me.
I think I’d do a custom. From the Bible “For this child I have prayed” for my son’s nursery
when i was in high school my best friend and I both didnt have boyfriends one valentines day so we sent each other flowers at school to cheer each other up.
Hmmm I think my 3 year old telling me “I’m his best girl” was the best.
Hi, I have to comment on my mom and dad and a discovery I have made. My dad is one of the best dads in the world. He and my mom were married almost 60 years had she not passed away six months shy of June. One afternoon, I was in their attic looking for old family pictures and such. During my hunt, I found the most beautiful cards that my dad had sent mom while he served in WWII. Store bought cards today don’t even compare to these cards. He always signed them “Your Darling Husband!” I didn’t know my dad had it in him…..Thanks,Cindi

after spending HOURS filling out valentines when my son was in kindergarten i asked him who his valentine was and he said you mommy!!! it was so sweet!! if only they could stay that sweeet!!
thanks so much for a great giveaway!! these would be awesome for my kids valentines party at school!!
One of the best V-Day presents I’ve gotten is a giant bag of gummi bears, shared with a friend. 🙂
A few years ago my husband moved to Minnesota ahead of me and my children while we sold the house. I bought him a sweet card about being apart.
I recieved a special message in a bottle. The poem was written by him, but it so perfectly matched the card I got him that it was funny. We were on the same wave length for sure!
While I was taking a shower, hubby wrote “I LOVE YOU” in the fogged up
mirror. It was sweet to find that when I got out of the shower.

One year, we were going through a “rough patch” and I really didn’t think DH was going to get me anything, but he surpised me with a Precious Moments figurine (which I collect) that represented the sayin “This too shall pass”
It meant alot to me at that time, and things did get better soon after!

My husband surprised me one year with a card he made just for me. He used different candies and created a sort of story about us. For instance, he used a Rocky Road candy bar to thank me for helping him down lifes rocky roads! He used lifesavers to tell me that knowing I will always be here for him is like having a constant lifesaver on. He had lots of things on it that were so very sweet (literally and figuratively) and he ended the card with Hershey’s hugs and kisses. He had never done anything like that before and I am not sure if he ever will again but it was so very special and I don’t think anything could top it for me anyway. He really took the time and made the effort to show me how much he cared and thought of our relationship. <3 lisaelliott[at]cox[dot]net
I’ve been trying to think of one but I can’t, but recently my nephew (who is four, almost five) got two pieces of candy (witch he doesn’t get often) from his grandpa but when my sister came in and he very politely gave his second piece of candy to her which I thought was so sweet of him. My sister pop popcorn for him all the time.

Best v-day of late: my husband wrote messages on a whole box of “elementary school” type valentines, which he hid throughout the house in little places where I go (the coffee pot, my medicine chest, my laser printer). The other day, I found another one, which was a great reminder of how he does notice the little things I do.
My sweetest Valentine came from my husband a few months before we were married. We had known each other for over two years and he did the most amazing thing. He was able to remember a special memory from each month and record it in a special Valentine letter where he told me how much he loved me. What made it even more amazing was that we had only been dating for a few months but he remembered the most mundane memories from when we were just friends. It was so sweet. Guess that’s one of the many reasons I married him!
My e-mail is [email protected]
I don’t know if i can remember any special valentine’s sentiments!
Maybe the handprints from my babies.
I’d love to win these, regardless!
Great Giveaway!!! Thanks

Each year my husband writes me a letter telling why he loves me more this year than he did the last.

We are a single income homeschooling family. as you can imagine there is not alot of money for extras. One year for our anniversary the pastor gave each coouple a vase with a rose in it, my daring hubby kept that vase filled all year long! And then bought paint to paint the living room for me.
My Dad always brings roses home and cooks dinner for all his girls on Valentines Day but when I was away at college and having a hard time, he sent me a card (he’d picked out himself) full of all the things that he was proud of me for. Years later, I still have that card. The written word still counts for a lot these days!
Two years ago when me and my girlfriend were struggling to pay the mortgage we mutually decided to skip holidays. As Valentine’s Day drew closer I sensed how dejected she became but I was going to surpise her.
I went into my closet and cashed in the change I was saving up for years and first got one of my church buddies to do a sing-a-gram of our favorite songs right in front of her co-workers. She was shocked and called me at work in tears.
When she got home, I had already made dinner, set up candle-light, and had the wine chilling. I couldn’t really afford roses, so I asked one of my neighbor’s for some tulips from his garden. I got the tulips and wrapped them cellophane paper from the dollar store. I also made praline candy with real butter and wrapped that up also. After we got finished with dinner I gave her a dress that I bought for her(of course with a gift receipt).
I knew it wasn’t much but my girlfriend said this was one of the best valentine’s day she’s ever had. I still felt bad about not really getting her anything expensive but I’m glad she knew that everything I did was from the heart.

The best was a card made by my daughter when she was 3 that simply said, “I love you mom.” It really means a lot to me as she made it herself and did such a great job on it. Looking at it gets me through the rough times.
The sweetest Valentines Message I every received was from my 3 year old nephew many years ago. He gave me a special homemade Valentines card and when he gave it to me, he said that he loved me and asked for me to be his girlfriend. (Now he’s 19 and I still tease him.) But, whenever I think about this, my heart still melts. Can you guess who’s my fav of my nieces and nephews.
My dad gave me a card saying how proud of me he was with a gift certificate for a massage. I loved it!
Dh gave me 3 long stemmed roses and said that each rose stood for a word in “I Love You”…but then he said that 3 just wasn’t enough, so instead, he gave me 3 dozen!!
The sweetest message I ever received was from an ex-boyfriend! He wrote how he never believed in destiny until he crashed into my car! Yep, that’s how we met! I can’t write about sweet messages from my hubby because, he is totally not romantic but he’s a great hubby. 20 years to prove it!
What a cool giveaway! My sweetest Valentine message? The one that came three days late in 1999 – “It’s a girl!” my daughter, Olivia!

My husband sent me flowers at my work (before we were married) and rented a car and drove me down to Cape Cod. So romantic!
My then 2 year old son picked up that we were supposed to say sweet things to each other…and he told me, “Mommy, you nose is pwetty.” LOL Little honey.
my bf said, “you’re a very beautiful woman”.
This sounds Marvellous Darrrrrling . . . it would be an honored to win. Blessings ~ Trina
The best v-day message ever actually came a day late when my now hubby proposed on Feb. 15th, his parents’ anniversary…the following year, we got married on my parents’ annivesary! 🙂
Well I didn’t recieve this but I am giving this to my mom(and dad kinda) for this valentines day. Its my mom and I’s first valentines day without my dad and he always got us a flower, card, and box of candy. Since he can’t do it for my mom I am going to get her the candy plus to make it special for her I am leaving her flowers AND a matching set for my dad’s grave site for her to have that special connection. Thanks for the cute giveaway!

Sounds so fun!
Ok, my story is a little long…my boyfriend was out of town for his brother’s wedding on valentines day two years ago. I didn’t think I would get to see him until the next day, then right as I was getting off work my sister called me with some story about the bathroom in my dorm flooding. I get there and there is towels agains the door and she said I should look inside. I did and there was Kevin with a GIANT teddy bear (it’s almost as big as me) and a dozen roses! I was totally surprised. Then we went out to eat and it was the best Valentines Day ever! Yea! (told you it was a long story 🙂
one of the best valanetines I have gotten is the Hug from a child I am not supposed to have. Doctors had told me that I cant have children. I got pregnant on my honeymoon, so that shows not all is known. Her hugs and her telling me she loves me is the best present I get not only on Valentine’s day but every day.
My 6 year old son gave me a card last year that said,
“Dear mom, I love you becasue you cook good.”
I guess it’s true what they say about good food is the fastest way to a mans heart. Even in young men.
sweetest valentine message? I have no idea. I just feel so blessed to have my hubby as my valentine.
My sweetest Valentine was last year when my oldest DD was big enough to finally make me & her daddy Valentines. How rewarding. <3
Thanks for the chance to win some unique Fruit Roll-ups!
My niece would love these to give out to her Gymboree friends.

I think the sweetest Valentines message I’ve been given is a positive pregnancy test. Oh my, what a surprise!
Just a handprint… my baby’s handprint from his first valentine’s… Thanks for the contest!
The sweetest valentine was a love note from hubby, he doesn’t do that often so nice surprise!
Awesome prize. My best Valentine was last year when my husband gave me beautiful red roses that cost over $200!! (I hope he never does it again)
A letter from my husband with all the reasons he loved me.
My sweetest thing said was my son when he was 4 telling me I was impossible!
I love this! Last year my daughter made me a valentine that was totally misspelled but I loved everything about it.

eek my posts keep coming out wrong! I would love this!
here’s my story:The best Valentine’s I’ve ever gotten were from my dad. He’s my ’step-father’ but he raised me since I was a small child and has always been my Daddy. We had a rocky time when I was a teenager because he just didn’t understand me – a bookish girl. He’s very quiet and was never overly affectionate or loose with words. Thats why when I get a simple card with “I Love you Taryn, Dad” written inside it means the world to me. When he says “I love you” his voice changes and I know he really really means it. I have the best daddy in the world.
I really can’t compete with any of these but would love to order them for my kids’ classes for valentines!
The first valentine’s day after my ex-husband and I separated, my son (then 5) had my mom take him shopping for “Something important” but he wouldn’t tell her exactly what he was looking for. After 30 minutes of wandering aimlessly he said, “Nana, it’s valentines day and there’s nothing around here beautiful enough for my mom”. The card with that story inside is one of my best treasures.
In our first years of marriage, my husband gave me a heart necklace, and promised someday he would give me one with diamonds. Which He did. But the first one is still dear to me, I wear it all the time

The best Valentine’s Day message I have ever gotten what the milk chocolate shaped to say I Luv U from my grandma when I was little. She made me feel so special when she gave them to me. Thanks for the fun contest!
My daughters would so love this.
My favorite Valentine’s Day surprise had to be a “mom’s day and night out”. My wonderful husband had arranged for me to have a spa day, massage, facial, pedicure, manicure and hair cut and style. I came home from the spa to find him all dressed up and our kids no where to be found. He had arranged for my sister to take them overnight. He took me out for a wonderful dinner (a hot meal, at that time I wasn’t getting many of those with a 3 year old and an infant.) We then went to Niagara Falls to walk around and to top it all off we stayed in a nice hotel with a jacuzzi.
He even offered to rub my feet, they were sore after all that walking in heels and back. The most amazing part was that he actually rubbed my BACK! He usually confuses that with my front 🙂
