One month…that is all we have left of summer. Fortunately, we’ve been staying active…and cool! It’s been an amazing summer with many memorable moments! Some of the highlights of our summer included up-close animal encounters at Safari Park, splashing in our pool, getting our wiggles out at Scooter’s Jungle, and spending time together as a family in San Diego.

Dreaming of Hawaii
Our summer vacation time has come to an end, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t still time for you to plan a quick, end-of-summer getaway. Last month, I highlighted some ways families can get the most out of their vacation time, regardless of how many days, weeks or months they have. Like many families, we are “vacation dabblers,” opting to take multiple shorter vacations throughout the year versus those who take one big trip. Recognizing that a majority of families are “vacation dabblers,” Embassy Suites aims to give families more with their two-room suites, cooked-to-order breakfast (included with each night’s stay), and complimentary nightly welcome reception.
When we travel as a family, we try to make the most out of each day by not over-scheduling ourselves, enjoying family meals together, and planning activities we can all do as a family. This is particularly important since my husband and I are doers and see-ers when we vacation and often need a few days of recovery after a trip.
Through February 28th, 2013, you can visit Embassy Suites’ Facebook Page to enter their 366 Days of More Sweepstakes. Every day they’re giving away two free nights to help you get more out of your vacation time. Be sure to stay up to date with all of the latest by following Embassy Suites on Twitter.
Disclaimer: I wrote this post while participating in an Ambassador Program by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Embassy Suites Hotels and received a one-night complimentary stay at an Embassy Suites Hotel to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
