Starbucks Coffee…A Roast For Every Palate! Giveaway

One of my favorite memories growing up was waking to the smell of my dad’s coffee brewing in the kitchen. As I got older, we began making weekend trips together to our local Starbucks. In many ways, he was more of an authentic coffee drinker than I am, preferring his “cup of joe” black while I spruced mine up with a bit of cream or half and half. While I’m not a coffee connoisseur, I have come to understand the type of roasts I prefer.

Earlier this year, Starbucks introduced their Blonde Roast, a lighter roast coffee achieved after 40 years of sourcing, roasting, and blending. The company describes this new roast as “a flavorful, lighter-bodied coffee that offers a milder taste and a gentle finish” and I would agree that the description is spot-on.

As someone who has been a long-time coffee drinker, I have always preferred a medium roast coffee. I am not someone who must depend on coffee to wake up, and very often I find that darker roasts are too intense. I have always enjoyed Starbucks’ Medium Roast coffee, which is smooth and rich in flavor. The Blonde Roast is a nice addition to the line, particularly for those who don’t enjoy strong, robust coffee or the occasional coffee drinker.

Starbucks’ new Blonde Roast is available in Veranda, Willow and Decaf Willow Blends and can be found at your local store.
