Having grown up in Southern California, I have many memories of visiting Knott’s Berry Farm. As a child, our school would take us on educational field trips where we would visit the Old West Ghost Town to learn about woodcarving, glassblowing, and more. I always loved visiting the one-room schoolhouse and riding the Calico Mine Ride and those field trips helped expand my perspective on the park as more than a place of amusement.
One of the things I appreciate about the Southern California Amusement Park is its seasonal events. This year, Knott’s Berry Farm will host a brand new Spring-themed event featuring live entertainment, interactive games, food and wine events and more. Spring Fling begins March 23rd and runs through April 7th!
Next month, I’ll share our personal experience and photos from Spring Fling at Knott’s Berry Farm, but here is what you can expect:
The Search for the Easter Beagle: Kids 3 to 11 can peruse the park looking for images of Snoopy! All children who complete the quest will have a chance to win giveaways!
Peanut’s Party in the Park: This new interactive show will take place in Charleston Circle and will feature some of today’s most popular songs as the Peanuts gang enjoy the great outdoors.
Big Boardwalk Board Games: Head over to Knott’s Boardwalk where you and your family will be featured as oversized game pieces in some of your favorite board games.
Grande 3-D Art Show: Step into life-size drawings of some of nature’s most beautiful spring scenery for awesome photo opps (located at the Silver Bullet midway).
Knott’s Towering Topiary Gardens: Located in Wilderness Dance Hall, guests will enjoy a beautiful display of sculpted greenery. Adults will also have the opportunity to taste wines from around the world, craft beers, and farm fresh foods.
Lucy’s Really Big Show: Located in Camp Snoopy, Lucy will star in her very own show, joined by her brother Linus and his friends Charlie Brown and JT.
Spring Fling Dance Party: Tweens and teens can dance the night away in Fiesta Village.
All of the above activities are included with the price of admission to Knott’s Berry Farm (additional fees apply for wine, beer, and food tastings). And during Spring Fling, the park will offer extended hours (10 am to 10 pm) so guests can make the most of their time at Knott’s Berry Farm!
Win It! One of you will win a pair of tickets to Knott’s Berry Farm to enjoy Spring Fling! Simply fill out the Rafflecopter Form below and leave a comment before March 13th, 2013 at 11:59 PM PST.
