Today is the day! Universal Pictures’ The Lorax debuts in theaters nationwide on the day that Dr. Seuss would have turned 108. You’ve read my review…and got an inside look at the film from the the perspective of Betty White and Danny DeVito! But did you know that Seventh Generation has partnered with the film to feature limited edition Lorax prints on all of their diapers and training pants?
We are a Seventh Generation family in the sense that my children have always worn the company’s chlorine-free diapers and I clean the house with their non-toxic cleaners. To celebrate the film’s timely message about environmental responsibility, Seventh Generation is utilizing these special prints to help remind parents about the Lorax’s important lessons, inspire environmental awareness, and encourage families to read together.
In addition to partnering with the film, Seventh Generation recently expanded their line of baby products to include Overnight Diapers. They’ve also redesigned their Free & Clear diapers. Here is an overview of some of the changes you’ll see in Seventh Generation’s new diapers and training pants:
The Overnight Diapers will now feature improved absorbency to keep your baby dry throughout the night
The Free & Clear diapers will feature more flexible tabs to provide a better fit
The Free & Clear training pants now feature an absorbent core made with more renewable, plant-based materials. They also include stretchy, tear away side panels for a better fit and feature inner leak barriers for improved leakage protection.
How we happened upon Seventh Generation’s diapers many years ago was the result of trying to find a solution to my son’s super sensitive, diaper rash-prone skin. After trying numerous brands, we finally found that Seventh Generation’s hypoallergenic Free & Clear diapers did not irritate his skin. They’re free from chlorine, fragrance, petroleum-based lotions and latex.
We’ve just switched my daughter to the training pants to prepare her for potty training and I’m very impressed with the fit. They keep her dry and they’re easy enough for her to pull on and off. She isn’t as prone to diaper rashes as my son was and I haven’t noticed any skin irritation with these training pants.
