Combining live action, sketch comedy, animation, and puppetry, Sesame Street has won more Emmy and Grammy awards than any other children’s show. This Fall, families can see their favorite friends live on stage when Sesame Street Live! Make Your Magic comes to Southern California.

Sesame Street Live! is a touring show based on the iconic children’s television series. In the latest show, everyone is invited on an amazing journey with Elmo to discover the “power of yet.” Starring Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie, Monster, Big Bird and more, families will love seeing their favorite characters live on stage in a brand-new, magical adventure.
Elmo is inspired to learn a magic trick when he meets magician extraordinaire Justin, who has come to Sesame Street to perform a magic show. But there is one problem…Elmo does not know how to do magic! Through Justin’s encouragement to practice, work hard and never give up, Elmo embarks on an extraordinary journey. He learns that it is okay to make mistakes and that magic can be found anywhere when you believe in yourself and the power of what is yet to be.
In the show, Cookie Monster and Gonger uncover the science and fun of baking while Abby Cadabby experiences the transformative abilities of caterpillars. Big Bird learns about the magnifying magic of shadow puppetry while Rosita orchestrates a rhythmic beat using everyday objects around her. And artist Grover mixes up the pigment power of the three primary colors.
Sesame Street Live! Make Your Magic features high-energy dance numbers and a soundtrack that is certain to get families up out of their seats. As a family who thoroughly enjoys live theater, this is the perfect show to introduce kids to the stage and the art of illusion.
Sesame Street Live! Pre-Show Experience
During the Sesame Street Live! pre-show experience, families will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with Elmo and two of his friends before the show right in their own neighborhood! This unique experience is offered at an additional charge ($25-$30 per person) and takes place 1 hour before showtime (with a duration of 30 minutes). Families can tour the on-stage neighborhood with special surprise visits from Elmo & Friends for photos, participate in a scavenger hunt (with a special prize upon completion), and experience up-close magic tricks from a roaming magician.
