A few weeks ago, I introduced you to Crest’s new Pro-Health Complete Rinse. As a reminder, the product was designed to help prevent cavities and strengthen enamel, strengthen teeth and fight bad breath, and help achieve a better dental checkup. In 32 years, I’ve never had a cavity and have always achieved a decent dental check up. However, my husband has not been as fortunate and engaging in this test drive was as much for him as it was for myself.
I’m in the habit of brushing twice a day, flossing at night, getting regular dental cleanings and check-ups, and avoiding foods known to cause cavities. And for the last month I’ve added Crest’s Pro-Health Complete Rinse into my oral care routine. I’ve also tried to encourage my husband to use it. We both found the rinse to be pleasant without any discomfort from burning (as is the case with alcohol-containing rinses). In general, my mouth feels fresher and cleaner, particularly in the hours after using the rinse. I’ve not been to the dentist since incorporating the rinse into my routine and I’d be curious to see what he had to say about my oral health.
The only thing we both found to be a slight challenge was using it regularly, twice a day. While it just takes a minute, we need to work on remembering to rinse. I’ve now placed it next to our toothbrushes to serve as a visual reminder.
A one month’s supply of Crest Pro-Health Complete Rinse retails for $4.59 and is available at retailers nationwide.
I wrote this review while participating in a test drive campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Crest and received a sample to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
