Some of the best movies of all time were born out of the decades I grew up in, including Pretty Woman. Directed by one of my favorites, Gary Marshall, Pretty Woman was the third highest-grossing film of 1990. The film stars Richard Gere and Julia Roberts in a romantic story about the relationship that develops between a wealthy businessman and an escort. Nearly 30 years after the film was released, Pretty Woman: The Musical, also directed by Gary Marshall, debuted in Chicago. Now touring in the US, Pretty Woman: The Musical will perform at Segerstrom Center for the Arts July 5-17, 2022.

Pretty Woman: The Musical

Pretty Woman: The Musical, is a three-time Audience Choice Award-winning musical that was inspired by one of the most acclaimed romantic stories of all time. The original story is brought to life on stage with an original score by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance. Fans of the original film will enjoy hearing the hit song Oh, Pretty Woman performed during the production. The musical is also choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, known for his work on Hairspray and Legally Blonde.
