OshKosh Celebrates Forever Summer With Activities & Crafts *Giveaway*

We’ve JUST finished the last day of school and we’re all breathing a sigh of relief because Summer couldn’t come soon enough. For the next couple of months, we’ll be sleeping in (ish), exploring our city, creating adventure-filled memories, and spending lots of time swimming and splashing to stay cool. I treasure these days now that my son is a full time student and if nothing else, I want my children to remember their Forever Summer as one where we laughed, played, got messy, and strengthened our bond.

Siblings on the Beach

In our family, summer is about making memories and spending quality time together. It is the simple splash in the ocean or us working together to build a sandcastle that our children will remember as they grow up.

This week, you’ll likely recognize a couple of familiar faces on OshKosh‘s website.  As part of their latest campaign, Forever Summer, we headed out to our favorite beach to capture our Fun in the Sun adventures from the unique perspective of my kids. Living in Southern California means our weather is relatively mild year-round, but come summer, we can get some pretty intense desert heat. We like to stay cool and what better way to do that than in the water? Since both of my kids are now in swim lessons and I knew we’d have two little fish this Summer, I headed out to my local OshKosh store to pick up some swim essentials.

Overalls

I can remember wearing OshKosh clothing as a child and admittedly, all I wanted my kids to wear as babies were their adorable overalls. If you haven’t frequented your local store or perused their website, I encourage you to do so because their kids’ clothing styles are chic, on-trend, and offer families tremendous value. Armed with a $75 gift card, I picked up an outfit and swimwear for each of my kids!

Sundress

My daughter practically lives in dresses year-round, so I picked out this adorable Embroidered Sundress she can wear for any occasion. Simple in style and comfortable, this dress stood out to me for it’s soft, embroidered embellishments.

Cargo Shorts and Polo

Not one to dress up, I picked out a pair of Beige Cargo Shorts paired with a Blue Striped Polo. Light summer fabrics and a relaxed fit make this outfit comfortable for endless Summer play yet the sophisticated styles are still suitable for an outdoor party or picnic.

Siblings

In addition to the above items, I also selected rash guard swim sets for my kids.  My son’s California-inspired Palm Tree Rashguard offers UPF +50 sun protection and I paired it with matching swim trunks offering the same protection. My daughter’s Hawaiian-inspired 2-piece Rashguard set offers the same sun protection and comfort for endless splash-time fun.

Play at the Beach

Both their online site and stores offer a wide variety of casual and more dressy children’s clothing perfect for Summertime play and memories. As part of their Forever Summer Campaign, OshKosh has compiled a pretty impressive Guide to Summer Fun.  If you visit ForeverSummer.OshKosh.com, you’ll find crafts, recipes, activity ideas and more to make this your best summer ever! You can find your nearest OshKosh by using their Store Locator.

Forever Summer

Win It!  One of you will win a $50 OshKosh Gift Card. Simply complete the Rafflecopter form and leave a comment with one activity you’d like to try from their Forever Summer website. Comments will close on July 9th, 2014 at 11:59 PM PST.
