It’s hard to believe that we are right in the midst of Oscar Season! The 85th Annual Academy Awards will take place this Sunday, February 24th and I personally know of several friends hosting viewing parties. If you’re looking for award-winning inspiration, King’s Hawaiian has some put together some recipes based on the most popular film nominees.
Last year, I had an opportunity to go behind-the-scenes with King’s Hawaiian and got an inside look at their baking facilities here in Los Angeles. I grew up eating King’s Hawaiian bread, so learning more about the brand was both exciting and intriguing. You can read more about my experience at their Torrance Baking Facilities here.
What I loved most about visiting King’s Hawaiian was the fact that I got a broader perspective on the various ways their breads can be incorporated into dishes. Before my visit, I associated the bread with sweet foods, often eating it plain with a smidgen of butter or dipping it into a mixture of eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla for a simple French Toast. These “award-winning” recipes showcase the versatility of King’s Hawaiian.
