Spring always seems to be the time when talk of babies and showers peaks. NUK, a company that specializes in the development of products designed to support and promote healthy oral development is hosting their very first Mommy Shower through June 23, 2010.

NUK wants to recognize new and expectant moms by giving them rest, relaxation, indulgence, and pampering (I could definitely use all of those!).  The grand prize is a $5,000 SpaFinder Gift Card (I could TOTALLY use that) with weekly prizes that include the following:

Entering is easy…just fill out the short form on their site.  Be sure to keep up with NUK on Facebook because they will be hosting weekly discussions on pampering and how us moms can get some rest.  Winners will also be announced on their wall.

To continue with the festivities, I have a NUK starter set to give away to one reader (retails for $39.95).  While I have not reviewed their bottles (my daughter is accustomed to another brand and I don’t want to switch things up on her), I will tell you that the company has been developing infant and toddler products for over 50 years.  Here is a bit more information about their products from the site:

The NUK Starter Orthodontic Set features a unique orthodontic wide neck nipple system that reduces colic and promotes healthy teeth formation. The nipples and pacifiers are shaped more like the mother’s breast during feeding and support switching between the breast and the bottle.

  9. My husbnd and I took in a woman that is pregnant and doesn’t have aything for the baby girl she is about to have so this would be nice to give her.

  30. I would LOVE to win this!! We have a little one on the way and this is something I don’t have yet!! I’ve always loved the Nuk Pacifiers too…LOVE the animal face pacifier from their site – too cute!
