3 Things You Don’t Want to Miss at LEGOLAND California in 2018 – GIVEAWAY

Every time my kids and I visit the LEGOLAND Resort, we peek through the windows to catch a glimpse of the new LEGO Castle Hotel. Our staycations at the LEGOLAND Hotel have been particularly memorable for my kids and without fail, they ask to go back regularly.

New at LEGOLAND California in 2018

Last week, LEGOLAND California Resort made three major announcements regarding attractions and experiences at the park. LEGO^® NINJAGO^® – Master of the 4th Dimension will debut at the LEGO^® Showplace Theater on Jan. 12, 2018 followed by the opening of the LEGOLAND^® Castle Hotel in the Spring and LEGO^® City Deep Sea Adventure submarine ride, slated to open in the summer! In authentic LEGO style, General Manager Peter Ronchetti was on-hand to give us the 411 on what is new and exciting in 2018 at LEGOLAND California. 

LEGO^® NINJAGO^® – Master of the 4th Dimension

This short film will use computer 3D computer animation with 4D real-world effects as they go on an adventure with ninjas Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Lloyd, Nya and Master Wu. Don’t miss LEGO^® NINJAGO^® – Master of the 4th Dimension starting Jan. 12 at the LEGO^® Showplace Theater.

LEGOLAND Castle Hotel

The LEGOLAND Castle Hotel will open in the summer of 2018 and feature 3 room themes: Knights and Dragons, Magic Wizard and Royal Princess. Families can begin booking stays at the LEGOLAND Castle Hotel in September of 2017. The hotel will include 250 rooms and continues to expand LEGOLAND California Resort.

LEGO^® City Deep Sea Adventure

In 2018, Merlin Entertainment will make the single largest investment in a LEGOLAND Park with a new attraction that takes families aboard a real submarine. Once inside, guests will be submerged underwater and immersed in an ocean habitat. This is the first time LEGOLAND will bring guests underwater to see more than 2,000 real sea animals including stingrays and exotic sharks. As guests look for lost treasure on a sunken LEGO shipwreck, they will also see LEGO octopi, marine tropical fish, and LEGO scuba divers. Touchscreens at each porthole will allow guests the opportunity to help the LEGO minifigure dive team identify gems, pearls, LEGO gold coins and more. The LEGO City Deep Sea Adventure submarines were inspired by and designed after the line of toys by the same name.
