Oz the Great and Powerful is the number 1 film in the world, and if you’ve yet to see it (or you want to relive the magic), I can’t imagine a more perfect venue than the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. Through April 30th, the theatre will present the film in Disney Digital 3D and Dolby Atmos (surround sound). In addition to screening the film, guests will have an opportunity to see an exclusive display of costumes from the movie and will be treated to a live, magic show performed by the theatre’s house magician, Greg Wilson.
Mysteries of Magic is currently performing before each show and features the master entertainer performing traditional illusions with his assistants and members of the audience. And as a special treat, tomorrow, March 23rd, 2013, award-winning magicians Mark Wilson and Nani Darnell will be at Disney’s Soda Fountain and Studio Store to sign their magic book Mark Wilson’s Complete Course in Magic. The book signing will take place from 12 to 3 pm.
Showtimes for Oz the Great and Powerful are at 10 am, 1:15 pm, 4:30 pm, 7:45 pm, and 10:55 pm and tickets may be purchased online, via phone (1.800.Disney6), or in person.
