As much as I enjoy a warm vanilla latte or an ice blended mocha, it’s my daily cup of tea that I look forward to in the morning to refresh and rejuvenate me or relax me in the evenings. I drink a lot of tea, and love that I can enjoy it hot or cold, with milk/cream/half & half or without. There are so many different types of tea, but my favorites include rooibos, white, and green teas.
Apart from the fact that I enjoy the taste of tea, I also consume it for it’s health benefits. For example, white tea has been shown to contain more potent anticancer properties and green tea’s antioxidants may interfere with the growth of certain types of cancer, prevent clogged arteries, reduce the risk of stroke, improve cholesterol levels, burn fat, counter oxidative stress on the brain, and reduce the risk of neurological disorders. If there is one tea that I would drink simply for it’s health benefits, it’s green tea.

Lipton recently introduced a line of Green Teas flavored with Superfruits, and from tasting a few available varieties, I’m hooked! I always choose flavored teas when given the option, but in the past, I’ve yet to find a palatable flavored green tea. Lipton’s Green Superfruit flavored green teas combine exotic flavors such as Purple Acai and Blueberry for a smooth, delightful tea that’s as good for you as it tastes. My favorite is the White Mangosten and Peach Green Tea which is smooth with a aromatic fruity flavor. It tastes wonderful when it’s warmed with a splash of half & half.
