Mattel Inspires Exciting, Imaginative Play With Toy Story Zing Ems Giveaway

Have you ever noticed that your idea of a great toy doesn’t necessarily match up with what your child will actually end up playing with? As a parent, I’m always looking for that balance between education and entertainment, and what I’ve found is that while my children have no lack of a wide variety of toys, they really only play with a few. So what makes a great toy? Those toys that are both meaningful and engaging are the ones my children play with over and over again.

This year, I’m honored to be joining the Mattel Disney Insider Program, where I’ll be sharing fun ideas for playtime with your families and highlighting some of the latest Disney-inspired toys.

My son’s all-time favorite movie is Toy Story, so when he was surprised with the new Toy Story Zing Ems Rocket Rumble Playset, he could not wait to play with it. Inspired by one of the best animated films ever made, the set offers children an exciting new way to engage with their favorite characters.

There are 8 Toy Story Zing Ems figures, each of which zip around the playset’s “track.” This set features an attack launcher which propels the characters around the set and into each other. The set itself was easy to put together and my son loved that he was able to apply the stickers himself.

What is unique about the Zing Ems is the fact that they always manage to stay upright, even when knocked down. Batteries are not required, which means children can use their imagination to play with the set in any number of ways. While the playset does come with an exclusive Buzz Lightyear Zing Ems figure, I recommend getting a few for a more interactive experience.
