Disney’s Magic at Play: A Kohl’s Exclusive Kids’ Fashion Line *Giveaway*

Confession…as a tween, I shopped The Disney Store nearly every week in search of the latest apparel featuring my favorite Disney characters. Most of the young adult wardrobe pieces were classy and feminine without being overly girly or juvenile. While I still own a few Disney-inspired tops, I’ve shifted my focus to my children’s wardrobe, since they love nothing more than to wear their favorite characters.  My kids love to play and create which typically results in dirt, stains, and wear. As you can imagine, quality, affordable, fabrics that are appealing to my children are the characteristics I’m looking for when I shop for my kids.

Mickey Mouse Outfit

Recently, Disney and Kohl’s announced their brand new, exclusive kids’ fashion line, Magic at Play, which is the first line of Disney apparel by Jumping Beans.  Featuring the beloved and iconic Mickey and Minnie Mouse, this vibrant, imaginative collection merges the whimsy of  these infamous characters with contemporary styles.

Minnie Mouse Dress

We headed to our local Kohl’s and found a large selection of fashion staples for boys and girls in infant, toddler, boys (4-7), and girls (4-6X) sizes. Since we’re in the middle of the Spring season, the boys’ line features sporty tees, tanks and shorts while the girls’ line features embellished tanks, sparkly tees, capri leggings, tutu skirts, and sundresses.  During our time inside the store, I asked my children to pick out a few items and I was quite impressed with their choices.

While affordable, the fabrics used are soft, comfortable, and durable which is ideal for active, playful kids.  I particularly appreciate the two style approaches used in this line which include the actual faces of Mickey and Minnie Mouse and the more subtle character-inspired prints and colors which are both classic and authentic to the Disney brand.

This is the first of several lines the two brands will introduce and I can honestly say that there wasn’t a single item that my children and I didn’t like.  We can’t wait to see what Kohl’s and Disney will introduce as we head into the Back-to-School season.
