Today, I followed along on Twitter as New Yorkers celebrated the launch of Kinect, Microsoft’s innovative controller-free gaming system. Before the official launch, actor/producer Mark Wahlberg announced that Microsoft will donate Kinect 4GB Xbox 360 consoles and two games to thousands of Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. The system is certain to be a hot seller this holiday season and won the Gold Award for Software/Video Games from the National Parenting Publications Awards.
Kinect retails for $149.99 and designed to be used with Xbox 360. Don’t have an Xbox 360? Right now you can get an Xbox 360 4 GB Console with Kinect for $299.99 (but I don’t know how long that price will last).
