Earlier this summer, I told you about Raging Waters’ summer promotions. We took a trip to the park during the last few weeks it was open. I hadn’t been to the park since I was a teenager and much has changed. The park has added a slew of new rides, including Thunder Rapids, which my son had a blast on. As the largest water park in Southern California, I was quite impressed with the number of kid areas, rides, and activities at the park.
We visited during one of the hottest days we’ve had all summer and the park was extremely crowded. However, we didn’t feel crowded in the pools and kiddie areas and the lines weren’t unbearable. The only inconvenient part about visiting was having to park so far away (although trams are offered to shuttle you back and forth).
This weekend (September 11th and 12th) is the last open weekend for the season. I would love to see the park extend it’s hours (even if it’s just on the weekends) into October since we often experience warm summer-like days during this season.
Admission prices are as follows:
General Admission – 48 Inches and Over $36.99
Online – $33.90 (Save $3)
Junior Admission – Under 48 inches $22.99
Children two and under are FREE

- CHOC Walk Returns to the Disneyland Resort – Special Events and Ways to Support - June 28, 2023

I wonder if the reason they don’t extend the season is because some of their help is high school or college students who don’t really want to work when they are back in school loaded down with homework assignments.
Did you notice if most the people working there fit that age category?
