I vaguely remember the last time I went clothes shopping for myself (shopping for maternity/nursing clothes does not count!). One of the reasons why I don’t often shop for myself is that I’d rather spend that money on my sweet babies. The other reason is my much anticipated, impending weight loss (it’s coming…I know it!). I told my hubby not to let me buy clothes (unless I’m in desperate need for something) until I lose this baby weight once and for all. So if I buy something for myself, it’s makeup, shoes, handbags or other accessories.
So where do I like to shop? My husband teases me about having expensive taste. I can go into a store and pick out the most expensive pair of shoes (among other things…). Jones New York, a store that I really enjoy shopping at (when I can) is known for offering fashionable styles and classic wardrobe staples just launched a new line called J Jones New York. The line incorporates “shapes and silhouettes that work for her body, fabrics that are easy to wear and easy to take care of, and styles that enhance her life and closet.”
One of the four key pieces is the soft, relaxed Swoozy (the others include their Draw cord Pant, Loose Cardigan, and Patterned Tunic). I’ve been wearing their black and white Swoozy with everything from jeans and a nice shirt to more formal dresses. It’s an extremely stylish, versatile piece (I’ve even tied it in the front). It’s made from a cotton/rayon blend (which means it’s light and breezy) and can be handwashed (no dry cleaning required). And it goes with almost anything!
