Jamba Juice Partners With Disney’s Planes For Healthy, Refreshing Treats Giveaway

One of my children’s favorite summer treats is a simple fruit smoothie. Most days, it’s easy enough to throw some fresh fruit, almond milk yogurt, and juice in the blender, but for a very special treat, we take our children to Jamba Juice. As a leading healthy lifestyle brand, this mom gives Jamba Juice two thumbs up for offering smoothies made with whole fruit and fresh squeezed juices. We tend to stick to the same fruits, so when we’re looking for something a bit more adventurous, we’ll stop by our local store for a fresh, frozen treat.

We finally took our children to see Disney’s Planes this week and after the film, we headed over to Jamba Juice since my kids were anxious to cool down. The film debuted in theaters last week, and for the very first time, Jamba Juice partnered with Disney’s Planes to celebrate its release. Disney was the first major media company to adopt a healthy eating program 7 years ago and Jamba Juice felt like the two brands shared the same high standards of nutrition and commitment to raising awareness and offering solutions to improve kids’ nutrition. Through September 15th, kids can enjoy a fresh fruit smoothie in limited edition Disney’s Planes collectible cups.

Earlier this year, Jamba Juice launched a special kids menu featuring four 9.5 ounce smoothies, all under 200 calories. Three of the four varieties simply contain fruit and 100% fruit juice while the fourth is a blend of fruit and veggies including kale, broccoli, spinach, beets, and carrots. Each also provides 2.5 servings of fruit and/or vegetables. I personally like these kid-friendly flavors since they don’t contain dairy and are the least allergenic items on the menu.

My daughter enjoyed Blueberry-Strawberry Blast-Off and my son enjoyed Strawberries Gone Bananas. They were very excited to see their favorite “Planes” on the collector cups including El Chupacabra and Ishani.

Each of the kids’ smoothies are just $2.99 and include a special Disney Planes Collectible Cup featuring Dusty, Riplsinger, and El Chupacabra.
