From Easter Eggstravaganza to the historic Christmas Train, our family has shared many memories at Irvine Park Railroad. This February, the beloved historic park will celebrate it’s 23rd anniversary! And in honor of the celebration, Irvine Park is rolling back prices to their original 1996 prices…
including $2.00 train rides! The weekend celebration will include $2.00 activities and concessions including their infamous 12 minute train ride through the park, carnival games, face painting, panning for gold, bounce house tickets, and popular food items such as popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream, and more.
Irvine Park Railroad
Irvine Park Railroad is a well-loved destination for Southern California families, particularly those like ours who live in Orange County. The 12-minute train ride through Irvine Regional Park offers scenic views while the engineer narrates and shares interesting, historic facts about the park, which is over 100 years old.
Irvine Park Railroad is open year round (excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day) and offers seasonal events including Easter Eggstravaganza, the Anniversary Celebration, the Pumpkin Patch, Fourth Grade California History Education Program, and the Christmas Train. Irvine Regional Park also offers Wheel Fun Rentals bike and paddle boat rentals, pony rides, and the famous Orange County Zoo.
Irvine Park Railroad Anniversary Celebration
Here are the details for the weekend anniversary celebration at Irvine Park Railroad:
When: February 23rd and 24th, 2019 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Where: Irvine Park Railroad located inside Irvine Regional Park at 1 Irvine Park Road, Orange, CA 92869.
Cost: The park entrance fee is $5.00 per vehicle and train/activity tickets will be available for $2.00 this weekend only. A live band will also play on both days from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Raffle: During the celebration, guests can participate in the raffle on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. Winners will receive Irvine Park Railroad prizes ranging in value from $60.00 to $300.00.
While at the park, guests can also rent bikes and paddle boats at Wheel Fun Rentals, take a pony ride, or visit the Orange County Zoo.
