Strawberries…my kids and I could eat them straight from the field basket every single day and never tire of them. They’re hands own my favorite fruit…sweet, juicy, delicious! Spending two immersive days with the California Strawberry Commission exposed me to a variety of new ways to incorporate this superfruit into my diet. And if you need a bit of convincing, I’ll soon be sharing the latest research on how incorporating strawberries into your diet can help assist in disease prevention and improve brain health!
While my favorite way to eat strawberries is to dip them in chocolate (naturally), here are some additional ideas to inspire you to think outside of the basket!
My typical iCapture post is traditionally travel-focused, but I love this handful of photos I captured on my iPhone, so here is this week’s collection of my favorites.

Now I am sufficiently hungry!
I went to a similar type event for the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board and boy oh boy was the food delicious! I’m now craving strawberries.
Looks great! I just heard our local strawberries are ready for picking, about 2 weeks earlier than usual. We are heading to the fields this week.
Now I want some strawberries. I LOVE making homemade strawberry smoothies.
These look so delicious.

Yum!! My kids love strawberries. We have at least 30 plants in the back yard & there is never a berry on them – because the kiddos eat them all!
some great and very different recipe ideas – must try a few!
