iCapture: Old Montreal

Posted by Caryn Bailey 13 Comments

As soon as I boarded the plane and the flight crew began speaking French, I knew that I was going to love the city of Montreal. France is one of my favorite countries in the world with it’s chic cafes and on-trend fashions.  Close enough to arrive on the same day, yet far enough removed to feel like I was in another country, the city of Old Montreal boasts a historic, European vibe.  I spent about 24 hours in the French Canadian city which was just enough time to get a taste…and have me yearning to go back.  Sony is currently filming Smurfs 2, and I was invited along with nine other journalists, writers, and bloggers to get a first look at the set and interview the cast and filmmakers. I am under embargo for most of the information related to Smurfs 2, but I managed to capture a ton of photos during a morning walk around the city.

I haven’t been to Montreal yet, just love your photos.
I think it’s hilarious that you took a photo of the mailbox, I guess they have the same ones all over Canada after all {same as the ones here in Alberta}.
Funny is the things I look at everyday and don’t stop to think that to some, it’s picture-worthy! lol

    Hope you had a blast!
    🙂

It’s a beautiful city! Spent lots of time in Canada (married to a Canadian!) and love how much sheer beauty it has to offer.
