How To Re-Create Kristen Stewart’s “Fairest of Them All” Look

Posted by Caryn Bailey 4 Comments

My queen, you have defied nature and robbed it of its fairest root. But on this day there is one more beautiful than you.

You’ve likely heard the German fairy tale about the princess with skin white as snow and hair black as ebony.  Over the years, there have been many an adaptation, most recently, Universal Pictures’ Snow White and the Huntsman, which opens in theaters today.

Last week, I highlighted hairstyles inspired by the film, including Charlize Theron’s braided updo.  This week, I’ll show you how sword-carrying Kristen Stewart managed to look radiant while warding off monsters in the dark forest.

Some of Stewart’s looks were created using products from Benefit Cosmetics.  In fact, over 50 makeup artists were enlisted to help makeover 300 cast members.

Inspired by the film, the company released a limited edition Rare Beauty makeup kit which includes the same primers and stains used on Stewart.  When you visit the site, you’ll find four step-by-step guides to recreating enchanted, film-inspired looks. Here is Benefit’s Snow White-inspired look, Rare Beauty:

  • Prime skin with POREfessional for skin as white as snow
  • Cover up dark circles and blemishes with boi-ing concealer
  • Achieve a flawless look with hello flawless oxygen wow liquid foundation

  • Apply benetint to cheeks and lips for lips as red as blood
  • Brush on speed brow for naturally groomed brows

  • Dot and blend cheeks, nose bridge and brow bone with high beam for a radiant glow for the fairest in the land
  • Apply 3 coats of BADgal lash mascara for lashes black as night

Voila!

Yolanda from Sassy Mama in LA and I glammed it up in Santa Monica earlier this week.  We also dished about the film.  Check out our video!

No compensation was received for this post. I was invited to a media event and screening and the above products were provided.
