Since we all know how much I love to cook, I won’t belabor the point. My husband has learned to accept it and we just deal with it. On the nights he comes home late from work, I’m stuck having to fend for myself. Now it used to be I’d just order out. But eating out gets really expensive (in fact, it is a huge monthly expense we’re actively working to reduce). The only alternative is a prepared meal from the grocery store (which can be just as expensive). While I like eating out, I also find that the portions are too big and the meals filled with fat, calories, sodium, and other unhealthy ingredients. I don’t like not knowing exactly what I’m eating.
I will be completely honest with you. I’m not a “frozen dinner” kind of gal. I am used to home-cooked meals made with all-natural ingredients (call me spoiled!). However, there are a few companies who manufacture frozen meals that I’m comfortable eating. Healthy Choice is one of those companies. I have been eating their foods for some time now and I’m always impressed with the taste and nutritional content of their foods.
