Rain, rain go away my children want to go outside to play. We’re hoping our late April showers here in Southern California will result in beautiful May flowers and warm weather. It’s been cold here and despite our desire to get outside, we’ve been home bound for much of the weekend. Fortunately, we’ve had crafts, books, toys, and baking to keep us entertained. We also received a few new DVDs this week so I thought the cold, winter weather would be the perfect opportunity to watch them with my kids.
There was a time when I purchased a ton of DVDs, particularly for my children. Some, like the Toy Story Trilogy, have been watched over and over again while others just sit in our cabinet. While I still prefer to purchase most DVDs, there are times when it’s more economical to simply rent one for the evening. For $1.20 a night, you can rent the latest DVD releases (or $1.50 for Blu-ray) from your local Redbox kiosk, many of which are conveniently located in Walmart and grocery stores.
I’ve frequented our local Redbox kiosk on numerous occasions and find the process to be quick, easy, and affordable. I really like to use the service when I want to watch a grown-up film that I wouldn’t necessarily purchase. Some of the latest releases available to rent through Redbox include The Adventures of Tintin, Happy Feet Two, The Muppets, Puss In Boots, Hugo, Dolphin Tale, Mr. Popper’s Penguins and The Smurfs.
To find your nearest Redbox location just visit Redbox or locate a kiosk via the Redbox iPhone or Android mobile apps.
