At just one year old, The Hub is currently airing in over 60 million homes nationwide, which to me is quite impressive. We were at the launch of the network around this time last year, which is a joint venture between Discovery Communications and Hasbro. There is something unique and different about The Hub, which features several shows I grew up with which have been modernized in look and content.
The goal of the hub is to “entertain, enlighten, empower, and educate” children and families through their award-winning children’s educational programming. Some of the content aired includes animated and live-action series, game shows, and family movies.
Since today is Halloween, I thought I’d highlight some of the spooky and not-so-spooky themed programming your children may be interested in.
For younger tots like my own children, The Adventures of Chuck & Friends and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic are more suitable. Each has it’s own Halloween-themed episode.
Older children might be more interested in The Hub’s spookier programming which includes the following Halloween-themed episodes: R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series and Goosebumps.
Here are some fun photos from the Haunted Hub!

It's My Little Pony!
