Hallmark Recordable Valentine’s Day Cards (Plus a Giveaway)

Valentine’s Day is a week away and I seriously hope my husband does not wait until March to get me a card. Now my husband is thoughtful and loving and all of those wonderful things…but he does not do cards. Period. I don’t really know if it’s because he forgets or he doesn’t have time or he doesn’t think it’s that important (we’ve obviously had numerous conversations that have resulted in us getting absolutely nowhere). Regardless, there is a card giving/receiving discrepancy in our household and one that isn’t likely to change anytime soon.

I am a romantic at heart and I seriously believe Hallmark exists because of women like me! I recently received a box of Hallmark’s Recordable Valentine’s Day Cards to review, and I have strategically placed it on the kitchen table hoping that my husband digs through it! Hallmark’s Recordable Valentine’s Day Cards are perfect for creating that perfect, personalized message for your loved one. Along with Hallmark’s “way with words” and artistic designs, comes a pre-recorded song (they’re songs we all know and love). Record your very own personal message to the recipient (which is about 10 seconds) and you’re done! When I opened the box, I had to listen to ALL OF THEM! Some are lighthearted and make you want to get up and dance like The Contours’ Do You Love Me. Others, like Marvin Gaye’s How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You, set the tone for romance. My personal favorite is the card with Mary Wells’ “My Guy”. Hallmark’s selection also includes kid and tween-specific cards. Hannah Montana anyone? Each recordable card retails for $6.99.   41. I went to Target today looking for a card for my special someone- but couldn’t find one that fit him! Too bad they didn’t have the Gal Dog on Chaise
