The brand recently released their new Popcorn Chips which satisfy sweet and salty cravings without the guilt since one bag is just 120 calories and 2.5 grams of fat. Earlier this week, celebrity nutrition expert Lisa DeFazio, shared some of her best snacking secrets!
Create an Award-Winning Combo: Include carbohydrates, protein and healthy fat to satisfy and fill you up. Consider pairing veggies with hummus and guacamole with baked chips
Stay Well Hydrated: Remember that liquid calories count just like food calories. Water is a sensible option and can be elevated with fresh lemon, cucumber, or strawberries.
Get your Timing Right: Try to avoid snacking close to bedtime. A good rule is to allow 2 hours in between snacking and sleep.
Additionally, DeFazio offered some at-home viewing party tips to help you and your guests enjoy a guilt-free, red carpet party!
Style Your Snacks: Make your snacks exciting by including foods in a variety of colors and textures served in lively bowls and platters.
Know Your Labels: Be sure to pat attention to nutrition labels, including portion sizes. DeFazio recommends that snacks be around 150 calories.
Veg Out: Be sure to keep plenty of veggies in the mix for low calorie, high fiber options that won’t increase your waistline.
