I had an opportunity to try the environmentally friendly flushable g diapers and I have to say I think they’re wonderful! I feel they are a good compromise between disposable diapers that take several hundred years to decompose and cloth diapers which some say strain the environment due to increased water consumption. They are easy to use with a little practice. We’ve had a few leaks but no more so than when Josh explodes through his Huggies. g diapers are less messy because the waste is flushed along with the diaper once it’s torn apart and I don’t have the increase in laundry loads! What’s great about these diapers is that they can also be tossed if you’re nervous to flush as they decompose in 50-150 days! These diapers are not cheap! I can get a huge box of Huggies (200 or so) for less than $40 at Costco. When you add up the cost of 2 little g pants and 140 diapers the cost is about double that at $80. Is our planet worth it? I think so! Check out their website for more info.
