Fun In the Sun With Chips Ahoy *Giveaway*

There are some childhood moments I remember so vividly, it’s like they happened yesterday…like driving to Malibu on Saturday mornings or baking with my mom.  I tend to have a sweet tooth, most likely from our years of baking cookies, scones, cupcakes, and muffins.  On those days when we simply didn’t have time to bake or we wanted a quick treat, I’d run to our cabinet for a soft chocolate chip cookie.  Chips Ahoy was really the only brand at that time that offered soft and chewy cookies, rather than crisp and crunchy varieties, which is why I remember them so vividly.

I haven’t had those cookies in a very long time, mostly because I try to make everything at home from scratch, when possible.  In fact, I didn’t really know the brand still existed until I learned they were introducing two brand new flavors.  Chewy Gooey Caramel CHIPS AHOY! and Chewy CHIPS AHOY! with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Both flavors still have that same distinct soft chewiness I remember as a child.  I don’t typically like caramel, but both my husband and my daughter enjoyed the first variety which has soft caramel throughout.  Peanut Butter Cups are probably one of my favorite candies, so I suspected I would like the second variety which contains pieces of the popular candy.  Both of the new flavors are now in stores.

To celebrate the release of the new cookie varieties, I have a fun Summer Joy Pack to giveaway.  We’ve been aspiring to spend as much time outdoors as possible and this giveaway will provide a variety of items to help you have fun outdoors including the following:

  212. I spent time outside working with small children. They love water day. Lately it has been so hot we have not been able to spend much time outside but water day is a blast for them.   224. Chocolate chip cookies with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups!!!! YUM! We’ve been spending our time outside very sparingly because it’s just been too hot to be in the sun for too long. But my grandkids love playing in the sprinkler and we’ve had some water balloon fights.

  259. There is NO way I could choose which ONE flavor I’d like to try! My idea is to eat both Chewy Gooey Caramel CHIPS AHOY! and Chewy CHIPS AHOY! with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups together at the same time! LOL – thanks for the giveaway.
    Until a week ago, I was spending my summer going to my son’s baseball games. His team was eliminated early-on during the play-offs, so now I have a little bit of extra time (which, unfortunately, I’ve been spending with my elderly Mother because she isn’t doing very well)
