Several years ago, I made a “life list” to organize my thoughts around my dreams and ambitions. Many of those “to do’s” include traveling as a family and I often return to my vision board to get a visual perspective on those aspirations. One of the many places on my “must visit” travel list is the Hôtel de Glace in Quebec City, Canada. What’s unique about this “ice hotel” is its large snow vaults and crystalline ice sculptures.
Perfectly timed with Disney Frozen’s Oscar nominations and the announcement that the film will inspire a stage production comes a brand new themed guest suite and activity cave debuting at the hotel for the Winter season. This Frozen Themed Suite at the Hôtel de Glace is created entirely out of sculpted ice and snow and modeled after Anna and Elsa’s bedrooms in the film. Guests who stay in the suite will also enjoy time in the Frozen Activity Cave.
The new Frozen-themed suite debuted this weekend at the Hôtel de Glace and will remain open through March 23rd, 2014. For more information visit HotelDeGlace-Canada.com.
Disney’s Frozen will be released on Blu-ray on March 18th.
