For Your Little Movers! *Giveaway*

Posted by Caryn Bailey 148 Comments

This giveaway is now closed. Thanks for stopping by. The winner is Becky M. Congrats!

Just a couple of weeks ago, my 1 1/2 year old daughter figured out how to remove all of her clothing, including her diaper.  It’s been a struggle to keep those velcro side tabs in place now that she’s figured out how to remove them.  As she nears 2, she’s showing a few signs of potty training readiness and while we’re definitely not ready to begin the process, it’s time to switch to pull-ups.

For the past couple of weeks, we’ve been testing out Huggies’ new Slip-On Diapers.  Designed for squirmy babies, the diapers allow parents to quickly slip the diaper on whether they’re lying down or standing up.  My daughter has been ready for pull-ups and testing them out just confirmed this.

My daughter has always been on the smaller side so we opted for the smallest size, which is a 3.  Designed for babies between 16-28 pounds, the diapers were roomy and stretchy but have never leaked (which has been a concern of mine). Huggies Slip-Ons feature absorb-away layers and long-lasting core to lock in wetness and keep babies dry.  Both of my children tend to have sensitive skin but so far, my daughter hasn’t experienced any diaper rashes with the switch.

Can she still pull them off? Yes…but she’s definitely not doing it as often because it’s not as easy as the tabs on her previous diapers.

Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers are available in 3 sizes and a pack retails for around $10 (but prices vary depending on the store).

Win It!  One of you will win two packs of Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers in the size of your choice. Simply leave a comment with one feature you’re looking forward to testing out with your little mover!  Comments will close on September 21st at 11:59 PM PST.

My baby HATES lying on his back for diaper changes, so we are already changing him standing up around here, which is quite the feat with regular diapers. So the slip-on option sounds much easier and is something I’d love to try!

I love that this can be done standing up. My son is so much more peaceful standing up but regular diapers just don’t go on correctly like that! I’m looking forward to trying these soon as diaper changing time has gotten worse and worse.

I like the idea of changing babies while standing. At a Montessori school where I taught, the teachers in the toddler room changed babies while standing (traditional diapers) as soon as they could stand as a step in potty training and independent dressing readiness.

I like that they don’t leak. This would be great for when my daughter goes to sleep for the night. I feel bad if she wakes up wet. Thanks for the chance.

I like that they are easy and slip-on. I’d like to test these out to see if they don’t leak for us.

It’s about time!!! I always thought they should have slip on diapers. This is great. I would say that’s the absolute best feature.

I’m looking forward to the “no tabs”, since those usually get pulled off or ripped easily.

I want to try the pull on diapers because my daughter is alway taking off her clothes and taking off the diaper by pulling on the side tabs and releasing them.

Little man does not want to lay down and is embarrassed sometimes so this would be great cause he could be a big boy for the wet diapers.
